Neptune Girls create their own #LOVETHYSELF slogans…
My babies made them!
They make my smile bigger and the day brighter! 😊
They allow me to dance my ass off!
They fed and nourished my babies
Growing up I always had a slim figure without having to work at it, but from the age of 23/24 my physique started to change. I got an office job and my normal shape wasn’t my “norm” anymore. It took me a long time to get used to my new shape, but over the past few years I’ve started to learn to love it. My husband constantly tells me how beautiful he thinks I am & I truly believe him now. We feel that we need to be a certain shape/size/weight to be “us” and when we’re not that we need to diet to get back to it. Instead we should be taught how to love our ever-changing bodies. I truly can say that I love my curvy body, big bum and wide hips- they make me ME.
It’s simply a part of who I am now. Nearly 40 and STILL WORKING IT!
It’s going to move no matter what, so shake it!!!
I’ve always been told from a young age that I was lanky, but I have learned to embrace my height. I never wore heels but now nothing stops me.
I used to be concerned that my bum was out of proportion to my body, but now I love its voluptuous shape and the way it looks in and out of jeans 😉
I was always told that being pale, ginger and freckly was ugly and that my pale skin made me look chubby…. but I love it all!
We’re bombarded with images of men with six-packs. It’s time to understand any belly can be sexy and attractive!
I’ve had a misaligned jaw since I was a child and it’s continued to grow in the opposite direction. It sounds like a silly thing to get hung up on, but I notice it all the time. My bite isn’t correct and my smile is not perfectly straight. I tilt my head or stick my tongue out in pictures to cover it. I’m trying to tell myself that apart from it causing me discomfort, it’s not a big deal. I have a boyfriend who loves me and thinks I have the most beautiful smile ever! I’m strong, talented, kind and passionate. I have so many qualities that shine brighter than a crooked smile. It would be much easier to stop comparing myself to pictures online and instead look at myself in the mirror and learn to #lovethyself exactly as I am 💕
I love my “Mum Bod”. It’s strong and fierce!
Because it is part of who I am and great for shaking!
I was embarrassed to have stretch marks during my teens & early 20s, now I’m trying to embrace that they are part of being a woman.
I love my thighs because they are so big and juicy!
As a teenager I would do anything and everything to make my boobs appear bigger; padded bras, chicken fillets you name it! However, over the last few years I have actually grown to love my little boobs, without falsifying their size. I fully embrace my small chest n love it. Natural me, is the best me 🖤
