From plants to bamboo furniture, these easy tricks are guaranteed to level up your bedroom. If you don’t have much money to spend on new furniture, take a look around your local charity shops, Facebook Marketplace or Gumtree, you’ll be surprised how many people are selling or even giving stuff away.
Stringing ivy around your room, bed or shelving is an easy way to add a little greenery. If you kill more plants than you keep, opt for some artificial Ivy instead. It’s really cheap to buy, will never die and can be threaded around fairy lights for an extra glow up.
Rattan headboards & furniture
Rattan (or bamboo) furniture has made a big comeback and it’s an easy way to add a boho element to any bedroom. From plant shelves, to peacock chairs, there’s countless ways to incorporate it into your room. Rattan decor is pretty common on Facebook Marketplace, so keep your eyes peeled.
Fairy light walls
Add a soft glow to your bedroom with a wall of fairy lights. You can even drape them behind a mesh sheet to cover up any messy wires. They are easy to assemble and you can even get them from places like Amazon or Ebay for under £20.
Creating a gallery wall is an easy way to add a little personality to your bedroom. Play around with different print sizes and frames to keep it looking fresh. This doesn’t have to be expensive, you can even print out your own images and pop them in frames from supermarkets or homeware shops. If you are renting and worries about marking the wall, a gallery shelf looks equally as good.
