As part of our new #KEEPONBEINGYOU campaign we’re on a mission to inspire babes the world over to love themselves, for themselves, to embrace your flaws, and to not strive for what the world perceives as perfection.
Because f*ck perfection, it doesn’t exist.
We strive on female empowerment and we want all of our babes to #keeponbeingyou, celebrate what makes you unique, embrace your “flaws” and truly #MakeYourMark! We’re on a mission to inspire you to feel unashamedly confident in being yourself. Ignore the haters and always strive to be that little bit extra. Just be you babe, because there is no other way!
This message is very close to our hearts, got any questions on body confidence or need a dose of female empowerment motivation, check out our #KEEPONBEINGYOU campaign.
Just be you. Do you. For you, babe.
Despite this message, we had some haters claiming that we had photoshopped stretch marks onto our model when we first shared this on Instagram:
Our model babe Amanda spoke out about the negative comments: “I’d like to speak out and let everyone know the stretch marks shown in my images on Missguided are real. I have stretch marks and I’m happy that such a well-known brand decided to keep them there. I think it’s really positive that Missguided aren’t photoshopping them out. It’s important to show young women it’s not about striving for perfection, it’s okay to have stretch marks — there’s nothing wrong with having them, we all do, and shouldn’t be something that’s covered up.”
So we shared the before and after…
Hey babes, we don’t use photoshop on model’s stretch marks, only the pants she wears underneath 😜 Embrace your “flaws” and don’t ever strive for what the world perceives as perfection. Keep on being you and #makeyourmark. pic.twitter.com/4lS1pYBAjo

Huge thanks to all of the ultimate babes who showed us the love, sharing their own feelings and insecurities on what people perceive as ‘perfect’. To say we’ve been blown away by your response would be a huge understatement! Here are some of our faves:
Tweet us using #makeyourmark and tell us what body confidence means to you.
