Cranberry rosemary spritser
If you are all for savoury, herby notes, then this one is for you, gal. Put cranberry juice into a small saucepan with a sprig of rosemary. Bring to a boil and reduce for a few minutes until syrupy. Leave to cool, then pour into flutes and top off with champaign. Don’t forget to add a sprig of rosemary for the finishing touches. Salted caramel pecan sour
If you love a sour drink but want a sophisticated twist for Christmas, look no further than this drink. Toast the pecans in a saucepan for 1 minute, add sugar and 80ml of water along with a pinch of salt. Leave the mixture to cool completely. Pour your homemade syrup, vodka, egg whites, clementine juice and bitters into a shaker and shake for 30 secs. strain into your glasses and grate fresh nutmeg over to finish.
Naughty hot chocolate
In a small saucepan on low heat, stir in hot chocolate powder and pour the mixture into a cocktail shaker. In the meantime, place marshmallows onto a baking sheet and grill for 1-2 mins. Add vodka, chocolate liqueur and ice to the shaker and shake till combined. Pour into glasses and top with a toasted marshmallow – YUM.
