Everything you need to watch, do and wear in February
Even though January has felt like it’s lasted about 127 days, it is in fact almost over. HALLELUJAH.
We’ve rounded up all of the things you’re going to watch, wear and do this month. Just consider it your monthly cultural cheat sheet.
1. The Rain (out February TBC)
It’s End of The F*cking World meets Dark. In true Netflix style, the group soon discover that, even when almost all of humanity has been wiped out, the trials and tribulations of adolescence, love, jealousy and friendship still present themselves. Drama and heartbreak ensues, naturally. Check out the trailer and you’ll see that The Rain will be the internet’s next obsession.
2. The Shape Of Water (out 14th February)
The Shape of Water led this year’s Golden Globe nominations with 7 bids…that’s as many as La La Land , so we know this is going to be a “cinema date with the girls” worthy film. It’s been classed as a fantasy sci-fi, and just watching the trailer we’re getting major Stranger Things vibes.
3. Fifty Shades Freed (out 9th February)
That’s right, Fifty Shades is back. If you have been hooked on the previous two films, then expect the same with the third. Just when it seems that everything was fan-f*ckingtastic, Anna is at it again as her deepest fears turn into a reality.
4. 2018 BRIT Awards (21st February)
The BRIT awards line up has been confirmed and it’s absolutely f*ckin fantastic! JT is back with his first BRIT performance since 2013, in with a huge line up of killer performers such as Stormzy, Dua Lipa, Ed Sheeran and Foo Fighters – it’s going to be a night to remember and we’re so ready. Oh, and the inevitable drama. Bring on the drama.
1. Plan a girl date at Greggs on Valentine’s Day (When: 14th February – One night only!)
That’s right, bakery chain Greggs has announced plans to host Valentine’s Day this year, and it’s even got fizz on the menu. At any point will they not be the greatest bakers, like ever? Dunno, but we can’t see it.
2. Prep for the birth of Kylie Jenner’s baby…potentially (When: late February)
After months of rumours and wild af speculations of Kylie Jenner’s pregnancy, we think its no pretty obvious that Kylie is in fact, pregnant. Isn’t it? The due date is set to be towards the end of February which means it’s getting close and all of our accusations will be answered! Get the wine and get your fave babes round, it’s going to be a good one!
3. Shrove Tuesday babe date (When: 13th February)
The one day of the year when it’s perfectly acceptable to throw food around the kitchen – without the alcohol influence, is finally here! Why not pick up your best babes and head to one of the greatest pancake joints in the UK and enjoy some dirty but f*cking glorious food and same goes for the company!
In fact, one of the greatest place to eat pancakes is right here in the beautiful home of Missguided – Manchester. And no, we’re not being bias, seriously it’s a fact, look it up. Are you a Manc babe? Then you really need to head over to “All Star Lanes” in the Northern Quarter to celebrate one of the greatest food related national days with your BFF.
