The Prince’s Trust Success Stories- Grace
Find out more about how The Prince’s Trust are supporting young women across the UK
This March, we are proud to announce a long-term partnership with The Prince’s Trust, who, over 44 years, has become expert in supporting those in particularly challenging situations.
The Prince’s Trust has offered endless support and opportunities to young people facing hardship, whether that be mental health problems, growing up in the care system, victims of sexual abuse, involvement with in the criminal justice system and long-term unemployment.
They work to offer new opportunities and support to those who need it most. We decided to take a look at a few of their (many) success stories, to celebrate the important work they are doing for young people across the UK.
When Grace was just 15, her dad passed away, which was a really difficult time for her and the rest of her family. She later had to leave her home to seek safety following sexual assault at the age of 17.
When Grace went to university, her boyfriend was murdered and she turned to alcohol as a coping mechanism. She graduated from her course, but was still suffering from her trauma.
Grace had always wanted to run her own business, but wasn’t sure how to get started. She approached The Prince’s Trust and they offered her the tools she needed to get started.
“I felt really empowered, and I thought maybe this is something I can do!”Grace
Grace now runs WorkSpa, a health and holistic service, offering wellbeing packages to workplaces and corporate companies. Her company aims to reduce employee stress and improve productivity.
Grace is now an Ambassador for The Prince’s Trust, sharing her story with people across the UK to inspire them and educate them on services available.
