TV and podcast recommendations from Missguided HQ
Everything you need to watch & listen to
With the sign of a second lockdown looming and sh*t weather starting to creep in, we thought we would help a girl out with new tv and podcast recommendations from the team at Missguided HQ. We’ve picked out some of our fave new releases to save you from boredom.
TV shows to watch
We asked the creative and marketing team at Missguided HQ to recommend the new shows they have been binge-watching over the last few months. As Autumn draws in, it’s time to snuggle down with the snacks and fill up your Netflix list with loads of new shows.
Get Organized with The Home Edit
If you were a Marie Kondo convert, then this is the show for you. Join the hosts of the show and authors of The Home Edit as they dive into projects for a rang of big name celebrities. From Reese Witherspoon to Khloe Kardashian, believe it or not, they have messy bedrooms too.
This new comedy is written by and stars none other than, Katherine Ryan. What’s not to love? The Duchess follows the (often problematic) choices of a powerful single mum, just trying to the the best for her daughter. Olive, her daughter is the best thing in her life, but Olive’s Dad on the other hand, not so much.
Calling all American Horror Story fans, Rached has dropped on Netflix and it is everything you could have hoped for and more. Directed by Ryan Murphy (AHS, Glee, Hollywood, Scream Queens & more), the show stars Sarah Paulson as a nurse looking for a new job after moving towns. She finally lands a role at a psychiatric hospital, where a number of unsettling human experiments are due to take place.
Although The Fall has been out for a while, it has only just made the move from BBC iPlayer to Netflix, so everyone is going made for it again. The series follows our ultimate woman crush (Gillian Anderson) as she ties to track down a prolific serial killer. If you love a bit of true crime, then The Fall is right up your street. Oh and did we mention that the killer is played by Jamie Dornan, or as you may better know him, Christian Grey.
This show may be about superheroes, but hear us out. Imagine if superheroes didn’t use their powers for good, instead they were just regular self-serving people who couldn’t give a sh*t about risking it all to fight crime.
