When do the Christmas markets start in the UK?
Christmas markets are officially our favourite tradition. Unless you’ve sipped on too much mulled cider in the middle of an impossibly busy street, then it might as well not be Christmas at all.
We’ve rounded up all of the best Christmas markets across the cities of the UK, so you can start making plans on your group chat as soon as possible.
Manchester Christmas Markets
When? November 9 – December 22
Over 300 stalls with loads of gifts, food, drinks and hidden bars. You can go ice skating outdoors too.

Birmingham Christmas Markets
When? November 7 – December 23
Based on the world famous Frankfurt market, it has plenty of food, drinks and crafts to pick from. There is even a floating market on the canal.

Leeds Christkindelmarkt
When? November 8 – December 21
There’s an Instaworthy Christmas carousel, Bavarian restaurant and countless ski bars.

When? November 21 – January 5

When? November 4 – December 22
Discover local made produce, crafts and more in the Yorkshire Yuletide Village. Plus there’s an old fashioned fun fair, live music and bars in many of the alpine chalets.

Bath Christmas Market
When? November 28 – December 15
With over 150 unique stalls, set in traditional chalets, it’s the perfect place to get your Christmas shopping. Plus there’s so much food and mulled wine to pick from.
