Talk of festival season is in the air and at Missguided, we take this very seriously. Thanks to Boris outlining a plan for the release of lockdown ending on the 21st of June, everyone is obsessed over spring and summer plans. Just picture the scenes: beer gardens, park picnics, bottomless brunch, parties, and obviously festivals.

Whether you’re heading to Glastonbury, Parklife, Wireless, or the Isle of White, let’s face it, no one knows what the weather is going to be like. So, we thought we would create a list of festival outfits for every weather. That way, if the mosh pit gets muddy, you can combat it in style. Keep reading to find out more.

festival outfits for every weather

sunny + clear days

We had to kick off this list with a little bit of optimism, didn’t we? If you get lucky enough to encounter sunny skies, go with a pastel print or light and bright colours to soak up the sun. Don’t forget to add glitter to the highest points of your face and body to reflect the sun perfectly for the sesh.

cloudy + dull

If you are from England, cloudy and dull weather is basically the baseline scenes of the UK. To combat this, stay away from greys and monochrome colours. Go with a bright and bold satin ruched bodycon dress. Grunge it up a little with knee-high chunky boots and trendy sunnies to finish off the look.

rainy + stormy

Make sure to prepare your outfit in case it rains (which is likely in the UK as we know). Don’t worry gal, we have super trendy and unique jackets and raincoats, perfect for festival season. Choose from bold patterns and prints at Missguided.

Dark + moody nights

So, you’ve partied the day away and you are at the last concert of the night. The music is blaring, speakers are booming and you are in a massive crowd of people. How are you going to stand out? You can’t go wrong with a corset top. Juxtapose by throwing on a distressed mini skirt, fishnet tights and some chunky black boots.

So there you have it. Be prepared for festival season no matter the weather. Let’s face it, after the year we have, a little bit of rain isn’t going to put us off the festivities.
