Find your fit- How to measure for jeans
You will need: a flexible tape measure and someone to help
- Measure your waist based on the rise. Eg. Take the measurement higher for high waisted jeans and lower for low slung jeans
- For an easy way to find your natural waist, bend to the side and find the point below your ribs where a crease forms
- The inseam is simply the measurement from your crotch to your ankle. Ensure that you are wearing form-fitting underwear for a more accurate result
- FYI 32- 34-inch inseams are considered long, a 30-inch inseam is seen as regular, a 27-inch inseam is considered a “crop” or petite
- Remember to take into account how you want the jeans to actually sit on your body, waist and leg length
