Since it finished last summer, the countdown has been on for Love Island 2019. Love Island will be back soon(ish), and tbh we cannot wait. We’ve decided to do a little digging so you don’t have to, and find out what’s been going on with our fave Love Island couples. It’s fair to say that the path to true love has not been plain sailing for a number of the Islanders. You mean it’s really unlikely you’ll find your soul mate on a reality TV show?? We are shook. Here’s the lowdown on which Love Island couples are still together and which have split:
Dani and Jack ❤️
They were the king and queen of the villa from pretty much the first episode and melted our hearts on the reg. They’ve looked as solid as ever since leaving the villa, except for the one minor blip when Dani had announced they’d split on Insta. Not to worry though, they’d just had a row. We’ve all been there.
Laura and Paul 💔
Laura was unlucky in love for most of the series, but we thought she might finally get her fairytale ending when handsome Paul came along. But, on leaving the villa they never even made it official and called time on their relationship after just a few weeks.
Kaz and Josh ❤️
Have you ever seen so much good looking in one place?? One of the most gorgeous Love Island couples to ever grace our screens, Kaz and Josh are still together and continue to enhance our Instagram feeds with perfect couple photos. Couple goals.
Megan and Wes 💔
At the Christmas reunion, Megan and Wes looked like the strongest couple of the lot. But a few weeks and an Instagram meltdown later, they announced their split. They’ve requested privacy and respect from the press, for both of them and their beloved pet hamster. Riiiight.
Georgia and Sam 💔
After some serious ups and even more serious downs, Georgia and Sam eventually decided it was true love and left the villa together rather than being forced to recouple separately. However, following accusations of Georgia staying at her ex’s house, they broke up.
Amber and Kem 💔
Kem Cetinay and Amber Davies, the cutest pint-sized couple in all the land, managed to make it work for a while. They called quits on their relationship just 132 days after they left the villa. Amber claimed their busy schedules meant the romance had just fizzled out.
Camilla and Jamie ❤️
Camilla Thurlow was not the luckiest in love for most of the series. That is, however, until Calvin Klein model and all-around hunk Jamie Jewitt arrived into the villa and swept her off her feet. This gorgeous couple is still happily together, doing charity work and just being generally pure and beautiful. Sigh.
Liv and Chris 💔
After many, many months of will-they-won’t-they dramz, Chris Hughes and Olivia Attwood’s fiery relationship finally came to an end publically for the nation to see on their own itvBe show “Crackin’ On”. We wonder who got custody of everybody’s favourite Love Island baby, Cash Hughes?
Gabby and Marcel 💔
We honestly thought these guys were the real deal. Alas, after being SO GOD DAMN CUTE for 9 months, Gabby revealed that Marcel had cheated on her during a holiday to Mexico they went on TOGETHER. Ugh. Blazin’ Squad or not, Marcel, that makes you a pretty big love rat in our eyes.
Jess and Dom ❤️
Dominic Lever and Jess Shears are one of the last standing 2017 Love Island couples. To celebrate their love they made the obvious decision to strip down to their swimwear, and act out a fake wedding live on Good Morning Britain. Why? We’re not quite sure. But you do you, guys.
Cara and Nathan ❤️
They might have split for a short while after the show, but by the time she gave birth to their baby, she and Nathan were back together and happier than ever. The world was introduced to their gorgeous Love Island baby, Freddie-George, during a cameo appearance on TOWIE.
Alex and Olivia ❤️
After one of the cutest speeches ever seen between Love Island couples (Alex Bowen telling Olivia Buckland he didn’t want her to handle the real world on her own still melts our hearts), this couple has gone from strength to strength and were the first to have a Love Island wedding.
